I go up Little Si all the time. This time I brought a group of Mountaineers scramble students up. Nothing to report, except that Peter thought he knew of a better way up (it wasn’t), and I got stung by bees.
Otherwise, super fun, and with a strong group.
About that other way up: instead of going up the gulley to scramble to the top of the climbing walls, just go left on the base of blackstone. This leads to feint trails and some brush. Bushwhacking brings you back to the trail that joins the gully. This way is just as okay as turning left off trail before the swamp. Fun if you like bushwhacking. So, pretty fun!
Also, bees. This is my first time being stung on the route. Oops.
